Before the Commission

  1. Explain to me, in detail, preferably with as many resources as you can offer, what you would like. For custom designs, I require a minimum of three reference images. I will provide a quote for the full cost of the commission based on the information you give me.

  2. I only accept payment via Paypal invoices, and all commissions are paid for upfront. The only currency I accept is USD. After an agreement on the price of the commission is reached, I will only begin work after the invoice sent through Paypal is satisfied.

  3. I do not offer refunds once the commission has started unless I am unable to complete the commission, in which case I will notify you. If the commission has not yet begun, you may request a full refund.

  4. Unless stated otherwise, your commission is for personal use only. If you wish to use my work for commercial gain, you must disclose this information immediately.

  5. Rush orders and undisclosed early deadlines will incur an additional charge.

  6. I reserve the right to refuse any commission at my discretion.

  7. By commissioning me, you agree to follow these terms of service. Failure to read these terms does not constitute grounds to not follow them.

The Process of Creation

  1. First, I will present one or more sketches, in accordance to your request. At this stage, you are free to make any and as many changes as you would like before the sketch is finalized.

  2. After the sketch is finalized, allow up to a month (4 weeks) for me to finish the commission. Generally, a turn-around will be within a week, but this is not always possible. You may ask for updates during this time and I will do my best to keep you informed of progress and complications.

  3. After the commission is completed, very minor revisions that do not require me to redraw portions of the work can be provided for free. Larger and/or more major revisions will incur a fee with respect to the amount of work required to perform the revision.

  4. I will send the final product to you via appropriate means (e.g. DMs, email, Google Drive) such that you receive the work in as high quality as possible, in your preferred choice of JPG, PNG, or both. You may not request the original drawing software file.

Copyright and Licensing

  1. As the artist of the work, I retain the rights of the commissions I produce. I reserve the rights to display, post, promote, edit, print, sell, etc. all commissioned works. If this is disagreeable to you, I will add a 10% charge to maintain the privacy of your commission.

  2. Only I and those that I give explicit permission to are allowed to edit my works. This includes applying filters, cropping, and alterations to my signature or watermarks.

  3. Unless specified to be a commercial piece, with the aforementioned commercial fee paid for, you may not use my work for monetary gain in any way.

  4. You may print the work, as well as post and share your commissioned work on social media for non-profit purposes as you please. However, you may not take credit for producing the work.
